The Accesories Catalog has pricing (including the pricing for washer fluids). It's available at your dealer and here: http://www.e60.net/information/
You could also try ordering on-line from a dealer (I have seen many ads in Roundel magazine - I am sure someone here can recommend a reputable on-line parts dealer in the West Coast) and have it delivered to your hotel. I am sure the hotel will hold it for you in case it arrives before you do.

I get 10-15% discounts from my dealer depending on what I am buying. And, sometimes my dealer has announced specials--e.g., 10% off on all Dinan parts.

My Ride: 2008 M5 -- Exterior: Silverstone, Interior: Black. Fully Loaded. That just about sums it up! :-)
I bought my car at BMW of Mountain View because I've been pleased with their service for the last 7 years.
I'm not a whining customer; however, when I do have an issue I speak (not yell) at them and things get done. I get the 10% BMW Car Club Discount. I find it MY responsibility to *verify* the pricing of the items (through accessories catalog, realoem.com, other BMW buddies who bought the item, etc) before I make the purchase. Most of the time the price of the item *is* what is advertised; however, I have had one or two items incorrectly priced (gee, in both instances the cost was HIGHER, not lower than what I had investigated.... <_< )
Now, with that being said, I actually purchase my BMW accessories at East Bay BMW. A guy who worked at BMW of Mountain View that I met over 7 years ago now works at East Bay BMW. I get around 25 - 25% off MSRP. Great guy, but I don't want to *overwhelm* him or start having a gazillion people asking for him.
PM me if you're around the East Bay BMW area and are in need of parts. I'll give you my contact's name.

Thats your problem... you called San Deigo. They dont have many dealers there... no competition so no discount. Which dealer did you call?
