The genius from England /Scotland that they brought over to run the NA operations keeps on surprising me with the egg head moves he keep on pulling.
That "genius" happens to have made BMW UK one of the most successful parts of BMW's global network.

MSRP [Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price] and selling price are not the same.

I learned as a child that EVERYTHING is negotiable. Besides, higher prices might help drive exclusivity. I don't think a few %age points rise in the MSRP is going to cause BMW buyers to switch and buy Hyundai Genesis's.

The latest iteration of BMW's all-singing, all-dancing plutocrat limo will roll out the door starting at $81,125.
That's like 58,000 Euros.

That is a bit less than I payed for my 520dA

As to the new 7 Series pricing, not a biggie as most buyers of 7s can afford the tariff. As to the 0.7% increase on the rest, seems pretty insignificant to me. US pricing was way low compared to other countries BMW pricing. I can't imagine such a small increase would stop any serious buyer, and, as stated, everyone makes an offer anyway.

I'm not economist, but aren't interest rates close to 0% now? Wouldn't it be great to go lease an M5 or M6 or whatever you want? Also, I got my 535 in July and I'm glad I did, because if if was a grand more for the horride "xdrive" badge on the side, I would have gotten a Lexus instead.
