I recently purchased 530i, first BMW I have ever owned. Glad to join the club!
I have what maybe the first a few dumb questions. It looks like I have the headlight washer system. Does this mean if I get a new body kit and replace the front bumper this will no longer work? (As non-OEM won't support this)?

My Ride: 2005 545i Alpine White Premium package, Sport package, Nav, HUD, PDC
It should work just fine. Most if not all aftermarket body kits will account for the washer system and have a hole cut out with a cover included.

I am doing some quick and cheap updates/mods then I will post pictures
1) Update all interior lights to white LED
2) Remove Charcoal filter
3) Install K&N filter
Then I also plan to either replace the spark plugs myself (have read a lot on this DIY) or will visit an indie shop that will let me hang out and do this with them.
After that is done I will move to the exterior lights, getting rid of the pre-LCI amber lights.
At that point I will be like 100's of other's out there but it will be a start.

Be sure your car actually has the cold weather package (CWP) and therefore headlight washers. All E60 bumpers have the cut-outs but they are simply covers on cars without the CWP.
