I's a previous e39 member, planning to buy 05 545, any suggestion?

Dear all,
I had a e39 540 from 2000 to 2005 and a member from e39 forum. I leased a 2006 330 and the lease will end in April. I am planning to buy a CPO 2005 545 with sport/premium/navi fully loaded. Any suggestion? Buy or not to buy? I know the CPO 745 had a lot of problems but do not know anything about the e60 545.
When I went to the dealer check out the CPO 545, the salesperson talk me into lease a 535. But the price is too expensive, $750 36 months/15000miles, minimum money down. I only choose sport package and heated seat(leather seat is required with sport package.
I enjoyed and loved my e39 540 6 speeds/sport package. Tons of modification I added to the 540(AC body kit, AC spoiler, AC exhaust, AC pedal set, Euro headlight/rear lamp, Hamann HM2 rims, Dinan bar, Eibach sway bar, STOPTECH big breaks, 3.15 Diff.........). Put 97000 miles on it but was offered only $8000 when trade in. Sad story....
Anyway, any opinion will help me to make the decision. The 2008 535 looks good but the $750 monthly lease payment just too high for me to agree. Thank you.

welcome. id say just take the 545 if everything on it looks all good. plus, youll find tons of information about both cars here. enjoy the forums.

Thank you! In fact, I am the very first customer the Dave Zeckhausen put on the STOPTECH big break kit. He did the drilled CDV and introduced me to the owner for RE and have the short shift kit installed.
The 05 545 COP I saw is auto and asking for $39000. I will make plan to check out the car these day.
