has 3"dp's fmic but no chip yet(hoping for christmas) but it smokes a little on idle & sometimes smokes a LOT on idle if it sits a while..I've researched some & remember reading something about possible pcv issues & a catch can mod someone made that helped but I can't find it anywhere.. ideas?

it doesn't use a drop of oil between 10,000mile intervals.. i used the BG 109 compression restoration service & it greatly reduced the smoking for several weeks.. car runs great, no issues or faults other than this... it has angel eyes intermittently not working but thats it..

Jason, Have you been able to locate the origin of the smoke?

 

Sounds like turbo seals are going out. This happened to me on my old turbo car.
