I'm making stupidly pathetic excuses to drive - like "i need to buy socks and shampoo" and "i need to see if i locked up work properly" It's getting pretty bad. I also got the nav disk today (radio navigation i.e. business navigation to you northern hemisphere guys) and i turned it off, drove to an unfamiliar area, then turned it on, and watched it weave its magic. hahahahah how lame am i!

Oh, and thats why you don't have pictures of the car yet, cause every time i go near it, i end up driving it.

btw, is there any way to turn down the nav babe's volume. I feel like shes really angry with me and shouting at me its that loud in my car.

Anyway, i'd just like to thank the E60 engineers for having me waste so much of my time making up stupid excuses so i can get out and drive and go get lost deliberately.

Domza,

I've read on this forum that if you adjust the volume control down while she's talking it will do what you need. If you miss the command, ask for a replay (one of the steering wheel buttons I believe).

BTW, still looking forward to seeing those pics!

I think there should be a "why do you never listen to me !" nav command.

I know the can't stop driving thing.

My wife asked me to get a loaf of bread from the garage (freezer in our garage)...I used it as an excuse to visit a garage mini-mart 15 miles away....sad or what!

Glad to know you are enjoying your ride Domza. I originally wasn't going to drive it to work all the time but I just can't help it. It is some sort of magnet drawing me in more and more each time.
