PREMIUM SOUND PACKAGE? get it or forget it?

thanks for the few of you that replied to my other topic........anyway....... planning on getting 07 530i .......automatic steptronic, sports and premium package..... what do you guys think of the premium sound package? is there a big difference in sound quality between the logic 7 sound system and the basic sound system that comes with the car? if i decided to pass on the premium sound package and go with an aftermarket sound system, will that void my 4 year/50k mile warrenty should any electrical problems occur? thanks for the help guys!!!

i don't have the premium sound package, but after reading all the reviews; i have no doubt its absolutly awesome
i remember one guy on here saying its the best car audio system he has had yet, and he normall spends a big bucks on one

Get the premium sound, with the idrive and the proprietary indash deck there is no clean way of doing after market things except for speakers and maybe an amp for the subs. I did not do it and every time i get a loaner with premium sound i just kick myself it is worth it, it should be standard though as it is on the 3 series?
