My Ride: 2004 530i Sport package, Premium package, Xenon
2002 BMW X5 3.0 Modded to X5 4.6is (4.6is body kits, exhaust) Premium pkg., cold weather pkg. rear climate pkg., Xenon headlights, clear all around.
I own an X5 and now look for a 530 with about 30K miles 2004 or 2005. OK I kinda know some stuff that happens on the X. But to the 530 I am clueless.
What price range should I look at?
What items should be checked thorougly before purchase?
I will be getting it @ around 30K miles so it will have some warranty left. So do I need to have the Dealer look at after i purchase so i can identify problems right after i buy it?
Well, any other suggestion you all want to point out please do. I will go look for the right one this upcoming weekend.

I bought a '04 545i with 30k miles on it last week for $36,000 from a dealer (non-BMW) in Dallas. It has sport, cold weather, nav, and premium sound. I was eyeballing some 530s for the past few weeks and it looked like they were averaging about a grand or two cheaper than what I paid for the 545.
