Hey guyz,

well Im trying to replace my old pre-lci tail light to LCI VERSION.

Can I just buy them and install it without bruces cable? Is it necessary to hook it up with bruces cable?

what will happen if I just plug and play? am I going to see error message on the dash board?

I did mine. However, I got the bundle with the Bruce Miranda cables. From what I recall, the wiring harness on the Pre-LCI is different from the LCI version. The Bruce cables go between the two is an intermediary adapter and joins the new LCI harness to the existing one on the car side. I got mine from 2S_autopart on ebay. He's a great guy to deal with. The one I got is the actual BMW Hella manufactured one, not the clones.

You cannot just "plug and play" without Bruce's cable. The connectors are different.

Come on now, you think that if it actually worked like that, people would buy the cable?
