I want to change my power steering fluid. I have found random posts with pieces of information, but nothing definitive. Can anyone tell me the best and proper fluid to use for this make and model?

It irks me to no end when I'm the one Googling for something, and I find a forum where someone is describing the exact same problem I have! ... only to find that the first post is a lmgtfy link or just someone ranting off about searching the forums.

 

It's most likely Pentosin CHF11S. You can check for a green label (item #12) on top of the power steering fluid reservoir. This stuff seems to be readily available. For example, my local Napa store carries it.

OP - do you have Active Steering?

 

Not entirely sure about mine. New car and I'm just figuring things out (embarrassing, I know).
