[/quote]The E60 has a very inteligent system. It controls the power in the car permanently and if something is draining the battery everything else will get shut off.
My dealer installed this permanent power outlet for me, for my DVD player.
I am just getting trouble, since there are too many things in my car using the battery. I might need a second battery...

But currently my battery is almost dad, and never really gets charged up, since I currently don't drive much and it's cold.
