All,

I'm looking for a solution for getting power to my ipod in my glovebox. I know that there is the flashlight/torch in there... is there anyway to convert that maybe to a 12V source or something like that. Something which converted the flashlight power source to a lighter type input...

There is an outlet just under the glove box. I have a phone charger in the glove box that I never use. The wire goes through the back and is not noticeable.

Do you have an aux output? How will you listen to your tunes??/

If the outlet under the glovebox isn't what you're looking for, try clicking here and checking out this adapter...

The power outlet under the glove box is for US spec E60's only. If you are not in the US (pleas put at least the country in your profile under "location") you can get the adapter that is mentioned here above, or have a power outlet installed in the glove box. That can be done, there is a spot where the dealer can connect the power outlet to behind the glove box.

Right, but you still have to get down pretty low to see it.

Have you seen this little device? Converts your falshlight outlet into a power outlet - you can charge your phone right inside the glovebox!
