ON ORDER
With all the posts on 16.1 and 16.2 is there a $ cost to install it?Will it take care of the problem of the radio always coming on by itself?TIA

You can always just tell your dealer that your i-drive is locking up from time to time, they'll reprogram it for free 
I'm not sure it fixes that particular radio issue.

I complained about the radio-on problem, after getting my last upgrade to CIP 15.0.

latest 16.2 version availabe in Japan too.
contains:
NAU 3.00
DVD 3.30
APL 3.00
KERNEL 10.00.00
CNS2 01.01.00
MOST 05.24.02
but after reinstalled 3 days after.
my 525i got blackout again.
I need sent it back to my dealer.
(cost is free)
