I have an LCI in platinum grey and am very happy with it. Interior is black dakota with high gloss black trim. Looks neat, clean and functional. The brown/auburn leathers with poplar wood trim look a bit formal for me.
Dark colours look great on the E60 in my opinion. Space grey is a bit light. PG is no harder to look after than silver. To avoid swirl marks, only wash by hand. Can't believe you would put the car through a car wash - the brushes are too harsh.
