If you've had any electrical issues fixed but you're mpg is really poor after. Don't panic. Check the units setting in the iDrive to make sure it's on UK mpg and not US mpg. Was struggling to get 27mpg and couldn't work out why, till I found out it was on the wrong units, now back to the familiar 34 mpg. All is well again.

No, but a US gallon is less than a UK gallon.

 

34 mpg! ha, ha, like that is going to ever happen on US gallon! Maybe I should change the setting just before I sell my car!

 

either way its the same amount of gas your car is guzzling. So, it doesn't matter.

 

That's the point. It was using the same amount of diesel just that by having the US gallon unit it was showing mpg to be much worse than normal and therefore got me thinking there was a problem, when there wasn't.

 

I was going to say 27 MPG? Thats pretty good! Of course that has to be with diesel!
