I was in Paris also last week and all the major attractions ARE there on the system. Yu just need to go (an dI don't recall the exact phrasing) to information about a location and then choose what it is you are looking for ( I had a 2004 Nav Disc). You can choose historical buildings, parks and recreation hotels and restaurants. The Eiffel Tower was there as I used the system to look it up and guide me there. I also used it to look up a parking structure and was guided there as well. The only problem was getting in the damn thing! This was the case with ALL parking structures in France my 545 was too big to get into them. Unbelievable that they would not take into account other cars than the Smart car when building these things.

I also suspect that E60525d wasn't looking in the right places for the POI. It makes no sense that those attractions wouldn't be part of the dataset. Anyone with a European Nav disc can test this out no matter where you are by entering Paris as the destination and then looking up "information on destination."

E60Sim, why does your avatar takes forever to load?...

It will fit - you'll just have to use some time parking, at least the first couple of times

What could be so hard about that, Ice? It should be basic with NAV. I can't imagine any programmer thinking all of the custormers were going portal to portal with no interims.

It probably gave you information on a different destination.

You don't have to go back to Paris to test it out. Just enter Paris as your destination while you're sitting in your driveway. After it calculates the route to Paris, look up "information on destination" and then choose attractions or theme parks or whatever -- you most likely will see the major attractions you mentioned...

Let us know what you find!

The French never did like america culture including Disneyland on their soil, maybe that's why it's not appearing
