My Ride: 2004 545i TITANIUM GREY II on Black Dakota Lthr, Comfort Seats, Sports PKG, Premium PKG, Active/Dynamic Drive, NAV, Winter Package.

Could somebody confirm if CD5 on the iDrive is grayed out and not accessible? Yesterday I got my iPod Retro Kit installed and car got programmed by the dealer, everything is working well but I noticed that I cannot access CD5. When I looked in the iPod Interface Guide it stated CD5 for PODCAST. Is that why it is not accessible?

Thanks

On my 07 530, I listen to podcasts on CD2. CD2 shows my Ipod contents by artist or by the podcast heading. For instance, I listen each week to Car Talk on NPR by Podcast - I love Click and Clack. On CD2, it shows up as "NPR".

I hope that helps.

I've never noticed CD5 before.

You can watch podcasts but you will need the video modules, that's why it`s greyed out, mine is the same.
