My Ride: E60 01/04 545i - 19" Alloys
![Default](https://5series.net/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
I have had my E60 (black sapphire metallic over cinnamon leather) for about 6 months now, had an e46 for 6 years and loved it I just wanted something bigger and newer but I really dislike my current rims 17" style 138. I fell in love with the F10 M5 rims on my car and have been searching the forums a lot but im stuck between 19" and 20" I live in Florida and the roads a decent, way better then up north but I have been on better ones. So any opinions on which size I should get? I know the 20" will be a little bit more stiff and maybe a recommendation on tire size I do not want to rub. Any help I would appreciate it, so anyone had 19" and wish they got 20" or have 20" and wish they got 19" I'm just super stuck and need help! P.S I will not lower my car lol I just didnt like the ride quality it gave me from previous experience.
Side note I just put the R1 concepts premium series drilled and slotted on my car and it looks great and cant wait to get my rims thanks for your help![Big Grin](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/biggrin.gif)
19" 245/35/19 for front and 275/30/19 on the back
20" 245/20/20 and 275/30/20 on the back sound about right?

Yes you can transfer your TPS.
If you install a tire with near identical Diameter to your existing tires diameters, your speedo will be the same. I think OEM rear tire diameter is around 25.7"...so your replacenment tire needs to be within a tenth or two.

If you are asking about the 19s, they are $749 for the complete set. Sometimes we can even offer you heavily discounted shipping.
TPMS can be transferred, however you need to make sure you take it to a qualified shop. Some of them will charge extra for this service because they will have to use additional parts to make it work, others will not.
It won't affect your speedo enough to make it even noticeable if you stay with the same outside diameter of wheels + tires. Even if you don't come within 1-2mm overall diameter the speedo is not affected that much.

1) TPMS is transferrable in majority of cases.
2) Speedometer will not be affected by rim size, so long as you put appropriate tyre sizes to accommodate or negate whatever changes you have made. As long as the wheel diameter is the same, then no ill effects. (Note: I have larger tyres and larger rims, so my wheels are about 4% larger than stock. This makes my wheel well look flush on stock suspension. My speedometer is minimally affected... I wonder if other systems like traction control are affected.)
3) Make sure the rims you are buying fit your car. Look at bolt pattern, hub centre bore size, offset, width, etc. Avoid using extras like hub adapters and spacers. Replica rims do not necessarily follow any standards, quality if also questionable (most likely gravity cast... ew.)
