Hi all,

I have a broken front bumper and missing fog light + etc.
I went to a body shop that dealer referred to, and they said it would be $1200 to repair...
front bumper alone was about $800 (part 420 +paint 210+install 130 +tax).

is there a cheaper yet good alternative? (maybe a cheaper body shop? i live in Philly, PA)
or do you think i should spend a little more and get a better looking body?
(but wouldn't it look weird with everything else standard?)

Im so confused of what i should do, and I will really really appreciate any help/suggestions....plz!

Buy any used bumper and get it repainted. Installing bumper is easier than removing front headlights
This will cut you down by $5-600. But if you have insurance with $1000 deductible, you should do it as well.

Some people in this forum have replaced their bumpers with the Ms. Perhaps someone still has one for sale.

If you are handy you can make it work. You have to take the sensors off the old bumper and also remove the sensor sockets which are glued on the bumper. Then you have to drill the new bumper.

Please buy the ones with PDC or you'll be sorry. The one with PDC has guide and lock to hold cylindrical sensor in place.

Is this something that I can cover up with just a lip? opposed to replacing the whole bumper.
I don't really know how "lips" work but from the pictures it seems like they cover that area?

Thank you so much for your help...
