Please help brakes dont work

Whats up guys? So I have a 2005 545i and my brakess are not working. The peddle is very hard and I have to step on it very hard just to stop. The car is not drivable. The funny thing is im not getting nothing on the I drive brake pad still have meat, So I dont know what to do. I took the cover and filter off to get to the brake fluid noticed it was empty so i refilled it and they still do not work. Please any help will be greatly appreciated.

If your fluid was empty (as in really empty or dry), then you probably now have air in the lines so even though you've refilled the fluid resevoir, the brake system needs bleeding to remove the air...

Again, from the sound of things, I'd recommend you get them bled by a professional...

Sounds like you may have a faulty Brake Booster. If your fluuid was empty enough to have to refil with a newbottle then its possible your booster may be leaking on the inside and typically when you have a booster failure or leak the brake pedal will be very difficult to depress to engage the brakes.
