Also, pay attention to what you were doing when the warning appeared. Were you moving the steering wheel even just a little?

I had this issue and it turned out to be the steering angle sensor in the SZL. Here's another test...next time you get the error while driving, start making turns where you have to use the turn signal. Does the turn signal turn itself off after the turn or do you have to turn it off yourself. If you have to turn it off yourself, it's the sensor because it doesn't know how much you are turning the steering wheel.

BTW, I had the SZL replaced on my car because of this error.

Also, I hear that something along the brakes, maybe ABS sensor can cause this issue as well.

I was on my way out of a parking garage when it happened. I had to make a few turns, but I m not sure if it came on when I was turning. Knock on wood, I really hope it's just a weak battery. Thank you for your input. I'll keep the steering angle sensor in mind.

fyi, i noticed a spike whenever my warnings popped up, so that was more confirmation it was an electrical issue. Try and keep an eye on the voltage the moment the warning comes on.

I believe that as long as the battery has the same specs as your old battery, you're fine without registering it (crossing fingers cause I changed mine myself about 3 weeks ago and everything seems fine so far)

Update: i got the battery tested, autozone voltimeter stated it was weak. So I got a new battery today at autozone (duralast gold). Everything seems fine, all I had to do was adjust time and date. A short drive home, same warnings came back. Well at least I now know its not the battery that threw the errors.

I got the battery for $135.00. I might as well get it programmed at the dealer along with the errors. I'm going to wait a few more days and see if it all goes away I'll keep you guys posted.

I have the same errors pop up every once in a while. Took it to an indy and, as suspected, steering angle sensor.
I was quoted $500 just for the part.
