My Ride: 2007 530xi: Sport, NAV, PDC, HUD, Cold Wthr, CA, Logic 7, HD Radio, SAT, Custom NCS coded options 2008 535xi: Sport, Night Vision, NAV, PDC, HUD, Cold Wthr, CA, Logic 7, SAT, Custom NCS coded options, Rear Seat Heat Retrofit, Passport 9500ci
Model Year: 2008
Engine: N54
Decided to gamble on a 535xi - like that power
Black Sapphire/NaturalBrown/bamboo, Sport, Cold Weather, NAV, Night Vision, HUD,
Folding Mirrors - was that an upgrade or do they all havethat?
Logic 7, SAT, PDC,
Xenon adaptive lights (thoseare standard on 08 correct?)
Current projects:
- Trading the 17?wheels for the wife?s 18?
- Adding HD radio (IBOC module I already have)
- Cleaning out the damp spare tire well and mustysmell and tracking down where the moisture is coming from
- Getting the sunroof drains cleared because thatis probably where the water is coming from!
- Getting the sunroof seal replaced because thewind noise is crazy bad!
- Getting the ?clicking? noise in the seatscorrected. Done this on last two E60s and it really helps.
- The windshield wipers (driver side) isstuttering really bad and making a thumping noise
- The HUD display is having some brightnessproblems.
- Remove and polish the interior bamboo trim
- Installing my Passport 9500ci I removed from thelast E60
good projects to get through the winter
It was strange how guilty I felt selling my 530xi after all the love I showed it. I'm sure after I give my new one the proper attention it will feel like my car!

congrats,,, can't wait to get my hands on that twin turbo as well.
i think of that purchase not as rolling the roulette wheel .. i take it as doubling down on an 11...gotta do it, nice choice.

I have had 3 E60s. The front seats all had a "clicking" noise on the left hinge for the driver or the right hinge for the passenger when the weight shifted like when stopping/starting, accelerating/decelerating. My SA fixed it in both previous cars and I will ask him to fix this one as well. He has some sort of padding inserted in between the plastic cover I think.

It is a CPO so I am still covered for the big things.
I have talked to 2 different sales reps that genuinely seemed surprised to hear about the water problems in the trunk for these cars. I wonder if they are faking it or do they spend so much time selling new cars that they never hear from the service dept about problems with the used ones they sell?
