Thanks for the compliment. I see you're running 19" in winter as well. How do you like those 128? Are they staggered?
How do you guys like driving your cars in the winter though? do you deal with lots of road salts/sands? I just got my car and would never drive it in the winter..

You are right, but its called Amethyst Gray.
I would say the Barbera Red is the most rare E60 color.

I'm running a staggered 245/275 set-up and made it through last winter no problems, including driving on snow.

I love the 128s!! The M166 are still my favourite, but very closely followed by the 128s. The one thing I really don't like about my 128s, is that they make my M166s look small It drove me nuts for a few weeks after putting the M166s on again for summer, but more than happy again with them now!

sorry, drifted off topic... again And now back to Platinum Grey...

True. I put approx 24K miles in LA and aside from not seeing PGM, you can add Amethyst Grey and Barbera Red.

How come I'm not seeing any PGM's around, either on E60.net or especially on the street? Tons of Alpine White, Space Grey, Blacks, Blues, and silvers, but no PGM? Where's the love?

Here is another one for you I really like this color and I was lucky enough to get it.

Very nice!

I lucked out as well. There wasn't one on the lot, but they checked the shipping schedule and an '08 535i PGM with most of the options I wanted was on the ship, inbound to Oxnard, CA.
