Well isn't that nice...now I've got major-envy

That '08 Z is awesome! The last few months were a rollercoaster ride of emotion, finance, and practicality in deciding whether or not to keep the '01 Mag Red II Coupe or dive into a new Black Z06. The GF and I decided that for now, emotion takes this round. If they had Mag Red II as a color option on the Z, it would have made it a slam dunk decision. Black was a very close second choice in our favorite color for the Z. Also, this '01 has been the most trouble free car I've ever owned, which says a lot because I drive it pretty hard. Still...everytime I see a Black Z06, it makes me think twice

They do make a red color in Z06 which is pretty close to Mag red. I can't remember the name of it. But the most common red in the Z is Victory Red which I don't like. But the other red is pretty nice.

As you said, my 01 Z has been the most reliable and I have done few mods on it too. Needless to say that I like my 08 550I but it has been back to the dealer more times since I got it then my 01 Z in last eight years They both are pretty good cars for different reasons.

I like Monterey Red...saw that in person a few times and there's enough flake in it to really pop the color in full sun. Very nice.

Yes, that's the color I was talking about. Its hard to find one sitting on a lot so you have to order one. But if I had found that on a lot, I would have taken it to change the monotony of the black
