My Ride: 2005 525i, Logic 7, PDC. Prem Pkg, Cold Weather Pkg, Sirius, Automatic, Titanium Gray, Blk Leather
On Friday we placed our order for a 525i with the following goodies. Premium Pkg, Cold Weather Pkg, Logic 7, Sirius , Steptronic & Park Distance Control. The hard part was deciding on the color. We finally choose Titanium Gray with Black leather & poplar wood trim. Expected delivery is sometime in early February. Can't wait.
The only thing I realy did not want was the Sirius radio as I'm an XM customer with 3 active receivers. XM is not compatible with the 5 series as of yet (2004 on) with a "direct" install. I have called Blitzsafe about this & they have no time frame as when it will be available. The good part is it gives me a chance to sample Sirius vs XM. Steven

the car sounds great....did you ask your dealer about the new engines in the spring? 
...the 525i and 530i are getting new engines in the march or april builds...the hp is bumped up and they are more energy efficient...
you should ask them about this unless you cant wait

I know about the new engines, But I took advantage of the great lease rates on the 5 series they have now, High residual & low money factor. I also was able to get the dealer to lower the asking price of the car by $300 over 4 other dealers. My thinking on the new engines is, Yes I'd rather have them but I think they will ask a premium for them. My timing is not good, As I need a car just before they come out.
