Awesome car. I'm jealous.

You've really nothing to be jealous of. Your car's pretty awesome to most folks as well! I still think the 540's look beautiful everytime I see one.

Great pics Stream! Beautiful car!

I know what you mean! I lived in Amsterdam for 2 years a while back, and it seemed like it was sunny maybe a few dozen times a year. When we decided it was time to move back to California, to convince our kids it was a good thing (they loved Holland), we used to sing to them "it never rains in California..." Just our luck, that first winter back was the rainiest in years!

The Netherlands are a great place to live! Just the wheather isn't always that good.
And imagine you had to park that car in certain area's in Amsterdam every day :'(
It would not take long before some junk smashed your window trying to steal that "nav system"
True story. Happened to a friend of mine, he parked his brandnew 530d in the old centre and when he returned to his car parking police had already donated him a wheelclamp and some stupid junk had stolen his idrive screen, scratched his hood (entered through front window) teared the whole dashboard apart, cut the leather with broken glas from the window and bleeded al over the interior. Can you imagine that the both of them must have had a bad trip!
But to be honest: he had a German license plate!
No offence to the Germans here, but tourist cars are more frequently robbed and ticketed then native vehicles.
Still, Amsterdam is a fantastic city, it just has "bad area's" like every major city where you better not park your valuable car!

Still, love to live here!
