Yes, you CAN power brake in your 550 so I wouldn't call her a Pu@%&, you might hurt her feelings. This process requires a very special way. Although the DTC is turned off, the cBus is still reciveing a signal. The only way to do this is to put your car in nuetral, apply the brake, increase rpm to 6500 and release the brake and select drive at the same time. You and all of your friends will be SO impressed at the amount of smoke you will produce.
and to the thread starter, go buy a front heavy domestic rwd car if you're concerned about doing power brakes.

not sure why everyone doesn't answer the guys question and giving him a hard time like it changes the fact that he wants to do a brake stand.. it isn't that serious...
To the OP, for a V8 this car can't really break traction. I haven't personally tried brake stand burnouts, but with DSC off and when I punch it off the line, it barely breaks traction - I havent tried holding the brake because I'm anal about my car and don't feel like putting stress on the torque converter or roasting my 20'' tires.
My brothers E550 absolutely roasts his tires without even brake standing.. My old 350z, hell even my old altima 2.5 liter and 1995 nissan maxima could all do crazier wheel spins. Even the company toyota sienna can do sicker wheel spins than my 550i. Just the nature of this cars electronics I'm guessing.
