Hey guys
I'm not sure if its just me not used to the rear drive car or if its the winter tires, but its seems very easy to break loose my rear tires is this normal. I can step on the gas harder in a turn and the rear tires will break loose, they don't squeal they just spin. So I was wondering if this happens with all winter tires or is there something wrong with mine or are the pirelli's just a crap winter tire. Also we don't even have any snow yet this is just on cold dry pavement.

Happens with my Dunlop M3 snows. The tread compound is so soft in snow tires to enable them to stay flexible and grip in cold winter weather. They are real easy to chew up. I have read that most snow tires are toast by 15k to 20k miles...
Thats why I hate putting them on for the season, you either have to drive slower or wear them out fast...

They are winter tires ... Not summer performance tires .. don't forget they are made with different rubber compounds for their specified intended usage.

All winter tires are a bit soft on dry surfice.
Ok must just be me getting used to my rear drive vs. the old allwheel drive.

We got some 30 centimeters of snow in two days and the smaller roads are still like ditches.
I so very happy with my 17" winter tires.

You should just see the mess on the roads we have had here for some days now.

Wow, lots of snow. We for some reason this year have not had any snow that stayed yet, its snowing today but its only +2 celcius so its all melting now. Normally we have lots of snow by now and its freezing, so I'm enjoying our weather while it lasts.
