Wow, that's one powerful HUD system you have -- it beams all the way to your bin!

Congrats on the new ride. Looks great and its probably the easiest to clean colour combo you can get

Enjoy...

Russ , the car looks awesome. It took me a few seconds to realize your stearing wheel is on the other side. I have the same seats which I believe changed a little with the September batch. What is the lever under your parking spot for? Will that damage anything under your car?

Russ - good for you...it finally arrived!! Looks awesome - enjoy and...what's that device in the drivway under the rear of your new car? I bet you are going through all the nav, entertainment, and other option systems.
It's a security pole ... bolted in to the ground (verrrry long bolts!). You put a key in it, fold it up, lock it, and if somebody tries to steal your car, it will smash the rear bumper and dig a load of the ground up and make a hell of a noise! The idea is that it's a deterrent more than physically completely stopping them steal it.

This is my 3rd E60 so I know most of the toys already, and my wife has the new X5 which has all the new toys So the learning curve didn't take long at all! Still, it's an awesome car, and am SO glad I got it. There isn't a single thing I'm unhappy with, which was never the case in the previous ones (which didn't have enough gadgets). I spent a year wishing I'd got the inbuild satnav, the better stereo, the ... etc etc. Love it !!

Nice choice man.. Hey you should order that spoiler im getting. It really makes the rear end look alot better. I think the trunk is plain without. Not the lip spoiler... the other one

Beautiful Russ, I love it !

Is the shifter different on paddle shift versions ? I thought the shifter (centre console) on the LCI had a "twist" on it, this seems straight and small "sportier" > what's the story on this ?

Oooh what spoiler? I was tempted with the M-Spoiler but didn't think it was worth while. Got any pics of what you have ordered? I might be interested

They aren't aftermarket speakers ... that is the BMW Individual Audio System - in the UK you can get Logic 7 for ?875, the Individual Audio is ?1,435. And it's superb - worth every penny!

Yes, the shift lever on the sport automatic is slightly different than the normal steptronic shift lever...
