I make no apologies for the car being filthy ... this is England after all !! (PS, sorry for all the blurring of the satnav/HUD/number plates etc. Just don't want to advertise my street name + the fact I have those two cars parked on it ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

I believe it is ?1,000, but ?750 if you mention E60.Net and visit them
I reckon I'll give it a month or so, just to make sure no faults occur on the car in its natural state. Once I am happy all is good, I'll get the remap done.

Read in your other post about you not being able to resist opeing it up already. Would try and resist this as my expereince has shown (on a number of different cars, not just BMW's) that the ones driven hard in the break in period often tend to use more engine oil (others may disagree, just what I personally have found). This is something that has been proven to me time & time again, when previously I had company cars and colleagues always broken their's in hard only later to complain about heavy oil consumption, something I never have had.
My BMW now has 12k miles. It was diven to the letter in the breakin period. After that, I ensure it is warmed up & cooled down adequately (as with all my previous cars). Apart from that it is driven medium to hard often. Not yet had to add any oil whatsoever!

Russ, just curious what your reason for buying from Sytner in Coventry was as you are from / live in the Manchester area like myself. I take it Williams couldn't match the price or something? I got mine from Williams and did get a reasonable deal, but now looking around, perhaps I could have got a better deal elsewhere. It is convenient getting the car locally though.

Russ - good for you...it finally arrived!! Looks awesome - enjoy and...what's that device in the drivway under the rear of your new car? I bet you are going through all the nav, entertainment, and other option systems. I know when mine arrives, I'm going to probably end up sleeping in it the 1st night - just to go through all the various systems/options. Must know how everything works!!
