I absolutely love your rear seat cover. It would have helped last weekend when my 4 year old got sick and puked in my back seat. Where can I get one.

at your bmw dealership. They sell them. Its in the accesoires options choice magazine

In the middle there is a little lap of cover that can be opened up for the seat belt to plug in. You can close it up again with velcro

Looks like something the "Mad Hatter" would drive. After he had some more of the mushroom....

IMHO, the little bits of trim on the vent controls - not worth it at all: waste of development costs. However, the covered cubicle instead of the open rubber tray cubicle - bloody great! They should have done that in the first place.......

too bad that aluminum looking trim isn't available on the 545i here in the US, I would have taken that over all of the wood options.... much more sporty looking...

Not for my taste. I don't like that look at all - at least not based on the pictures I have seen but maybe it looks better in real-life. Looks like a tool box but it could be that it just reflects a lot more light from the flash so stands out more than in the actual car. Anyone have a picture taken in daylight without a flash?

There is much debat about the personal preference of people. Some like wood, some like metal, some like pure cube some like others. I find that this is a matter
of personal taste. There is no good or bad taste. There is just personal preference.
If you like wood better there is nothing wrong with that and visa versa. People like
different things thats why bmw offers all these kinds of trims so everybody is happy

That's for sure - you can't argue with taste. I was careful to state that it wasn't to my taste and hope I didn't imply that my taste was somehow better than someone elses - particularly not someone who obviously likes similar automobiles.
