Yep. It looks like the L7 module, allthough I think the L7 module is a bit bigger/wider.
Anyways, the guy selling it says it's the DSP amp for the HiFi system, so it's not the L7 amp.

O i c; i always thought dsp says DIGITAL sound processor and only logic7 has the concert hal setting that flows from the dsp unit.
Ok i must be wrong. So hi fi has also concert hall setting?

or does dsp mean something else?

OR does hi fi has surround 5.1 (logic has 7.1) ? If thats the case indeed 5.1 can only be achieved by dsp unit

Ok that confirms it then THAT UGLY THING is in our car

Ps call me crazy but the older car of my friend sound wurs on the same settings i have on my logic7. Could it be that the march 09 production has a better qualety amp dsp unit? I heard someone say here the new model is bigger?

Or it could just be the cd i put in this system. Different cds could be different sounds.

That's interesting! Wonder how much of an improvement the new part gives to the sound quality? Worth upgrading to the part?

That could explain why some older car dont like the logic 7 as much as i do. I thought the bass was more tight and impressive in my car. I played a self made cd in my car and my friend had a real cd in his car. It could have been the cd but i would be surprized because real cds generaly play better sound then self made cds

It's a $900+ part - that's a lot of $$ to upgrade similar stock amp to similar stock amp, unless someone wants your old amp.

Doh! Forget that, my Logic 7 sounds just fine, thank you.

That's the DSP, not L7.

Respectfully, that's wrong Iceman. If you notice, it says "TOP-HIFI" which is the Logic 7. I am in the U.S. and know for a fact that the only outboard amp on the standard (HI-FI) system, is the small subwoofer amp (small square box). The MASK unit on my car outputs the mids and highs while the small, pathetic sub amp outputs the 'central bass'. There is a post somewhere with a PDF document that has stereo system schematics for both systems. It doesn't show wiring detail though...I had to figure that out myself.
