cas, I just noticed your EZ-Pass mounted underneath your mirror.

For what it's worth, I found that it's less noticeable if you mount it to the right of the mirror at the top of the windshield. I'm also considering doing an experiment to see if the transponder will still work if I apply something black to the bottom of it (like electrical tape or paper.) I hate how the white plastic housing stands out like a sore thumb...

That is a beautiful ride. That white is AWESOME! Makes me reconsider my decision to get Black.

Awesome wheels and one of my favorite songs (really) by CCRevival on the radio...it doesn't get better. I have to Siriusly consider those wheels for my next BMW. Four thumbs up, CAS

Rudy - can you not mount it behind the inspection sticker or registration sticker? In Texas, they are about the same size as our TollTags and they do work when placed behind.

Cheers,

What's that extra medallion on the back of the trunk? Is the dealer paying you to advertise for him? I think I'd make him take it off.

Definitely. You should debadge the entire trunk area.

I had never thought of mounting behind the inspection sticker. May try that. I have always mounted high left on the windshield. I think that's where the Tollway Authority recommends.

I suppose it would work but I wouldn't want to affix anything adhesive to the back of the inspection sticker for fear of defacing the sticker (our stickers have a tamper proof adhesive and peeling off anything from the back may expose a big "void" sign, etc.) The recommended point to mount the unit is high and centered on the windshield. My bet is that once I cover the white surface with something black, it won't be very visible.

Actually, since I don't use mine often at all, I leave it in the glovebox so the only thing visible is two small, clear velcro strips...

Nice ride CAS. Are thoe the new std wheels for the 545 sport pkg, or did you order them separate?

I ordered them from bmw wheels .com and the tires from tirerack.com and shipped them to my dealer to be put on when the car arrived 3 weeks ago.

Hi CAS,

Is it 275/30 on the rear? They look a bit "thin" in the rim.
I really love the 128:s and can't wait for mine to be delivered!!

Do you have the original sport suspension?
