Couple pics of the new car. I dont quite understand why some detractors can call this an "ugly" car.

Looks good, no doubt. 20" looks good on a 5 series.

very nice . i think whoever called it ugly must be a woman (no offense). women always say one thing but think the other .

Hate saying this, but I think the 18" design looks nicer but the 20" fill the arches better. I think the 20" wheels are, how you say, airy or gappy. Needs more metal in the design.

BTW, the license plate thingy on the front bumber/fender - is it a requirement in the US?
From what I can see it only looks like the dealers advertising. If it is not a requirement, I reckon I would take it off to see what a clean face looks like.

that's the license plate frame and requires in certain states, not all . i have that frame but instead of my license plate, i put the bmw emblem plate .
