Having problems with the stop start cut off though i.e. when you disengage the clutch at a set of lights I thought the car should cut out?? Then once you engage the clutch it fires up? Its not doing this though.....thoughts?

I had a 3 series loan car and it scared the c~*p out of me at the first set of traffic lights. Take it out of gear, foot on brake, disengage clutch. Car should stop. I think there is a setting in the idrive to turn it on and off.

So, for a great majority, it is about how the car looks rather than to hide what model you drive. I think that is just a lame argument.

when you de badge a car its because you have the "poverty spec car"
or why would you want it to be perceived as something lesser?
not for everyone , but for the majority.
The tinted rear windows are BMW factory fit......does look nice and was the main choice of option for me...
The badget argument will go on I guess but for me I prefer the 'less complicated' rear end of no badge. Had 3 E39's 535i and 530i both sport models and debadged them also, just think it looks better.....again each to their own.
How would I know if I had the new i drive?

do you mean outside the car? because inside the car the diesel is quiter than the petrol.
