Very nice!

How come you have the blue color on the i-drive menu?

Mine is brown!

Cidair,
I think the blue backgound on my I drive pic is due to the flash. If you look at one of my I drive pics taken without flash you will see the background of I drive screen is dark .

P.S. How about posting some pics of your car.

The boys in Germany are sure getting careless. I cannot believe they put the sterring wheel on the right side! Just kidding.

Beautiful car, Mark!

Johnboy,

The interior strip trim is standard titanium II.

Mark,

Very nice pictures. I love the Sports Steering wheel. Did you ordered like that? HOw much was it.. I thought that steering wheel is only part of the cars with SMG only <_<

I would had wish that with the Sports Package would had come with thesilver dash pieces. Only the door handles (in mycar) have the brushed aluminum but the dash and center console are wood grain

The sports steering wheel is a ?65 optional extra in the UK. The dash trim in Mark's pictures is titanium II, standard in the 6 cylinder models. The photos make it look like aluminum.

I'm planning to order a 545i in April and have asked my dealer to fit the titanium II as I prefer it to the standard wood trim you get in the 545i - never have really liked wood in cars!

Should be easy to do a retro DIY job on this..

Yes the sports steering wheel was only ?65 ( one of BMW's more reasonably priced options ).
I agree that the titanium II trim does look better than wood on the E60. I cannot see why it should not be a no cost option on models with standard wood.
I have now managed to wash my car and posted some extra pics on page 3 of my tyresmoke gallery. Only one more day before I can drive the car..

Washes up alright doesn't she.

I noticed the snow reflecting in the door - must have been a tad "testing" washing in those conditions.

btw - as compensation for not being able to drive the car at least it doesn't get dirty!
