My Ride: 2007 530xi - Silver/Gray, Gray Leather, 6 SP Manual, Premium, Sport, CW, CA, Shades, Logic7

I received my 124's a few weeks ago, and just had my M-tech kit installed this past week. The 124's are a staggered setup - 8x18 ET:43 in the front and 9x18 ET:55 in the rear (just as realoem.com indicates). I put BF Goodrich g-force T/A KDW NT's on - they seem to perform real well, but I think the tread pattern is a little goofy looking. I suppose the performance is more important .

Thanks to Tony (quad_m) for supplying both the wheels and m-tech, and thanks to cmansbimmer for great advice on the wheels.

Regarding the M-tech kit - the dramatic change in the look with the front bumper is obvious; what I was (pleasantly) surprised with was how much of a difference the side skirts make. The flared look really stands out in person, much more than is evident in pictures. The rear, honestly, I can take it or leave it. I kinda like the flared lip on the bottom of the stock rear bumper, and think it would actually fit pretty well with the sides. The body shop is still painting the front license plate holder, so I'll have that installed next week - for now, I'm enjoying the look of the clean front.

So, here are some pics, including one with my DVD player installed in the rear. I also included a close-up of the wheels, so folks could see the difference in the "depth" between a "normal" 124 and the one for the xi models. Sorry, the lighting is not so great - I have a nice digital SLR, but the user is not so photo-savvy .

Congrats!!! The car looks awesome! Man...I really need to get the M Tech front bumper now. I agree with you on the rear. I'm not doing the rear. Just the front and sides.

There is one thing you need to do though and I think you know what I'm going to say ...you need to get the H&R Springs for our car and drop it.

Regardless though, the car looks fantastic! Nice job buddy!

Wow that front just looks mean! Very cool-love the sides and front but must say I do not care for the back personally-it is too chunky-kind of just looks too bulky in the back but the front and sides make up for it many fold

Quad_m sells the M Tech kits. There's a group buy going on right now. Do a search.

It looks good, always liked the 124 wheels. How does it ride/handle now with the staggered setup? Does it feel different on the highway now?

Looks sweet! I just love that front end and side skirts. Now you have me thinking about it for my 530xi! I could start to fall in love with my car all over again with that front end. The wheels look great also. Throw some H&R springs on and lower that badboy about 1.5 to 2 inches.....might as well finish off the project right. Good luck!

Hahaha! What did I get you into D???? I'm a bad influence, I know. That's what I get for testing everything on my xi early on though.
