You all are my obsessive inspiration so here are a few more HDR practice images I took last night and after looking at them I was thinking maybe I don't need the Mtech rear (right on the verge of pulling the trigger on that and m5 mirrors)? Maybe it looks good the way it is?

It does look good and I think you don't necessarily need the mtech bumper....

But... With the mtech bumper the rear would look a bit more "serene", if you get what I'm saying.

personally I don't mind the original rear bumper so I would say the m-tech is not necessary.

Love the HDR shot by the way, couple of them look like you could have used a sturdier tripod but they still look pretty good.

On paper, I'd say yes. After looking at the pics, I'd say probably not. I rather change the spoiler and add the M5 mirrors, if you asked me.
