'A buttock clenching moment' as a friend put it. I have had my car 2 weeks, and left it to Active Cruise Control to stop at relatively slow speeds but bottled out when approaching stationary traffic at 50MPH.

Simon
Well it will do it, but it is scary, I find it best for the crawling along stop/start traffic, in the 20-70 mph range I'd rather take care of it myself.

Awesome choice... and a great colour combo -- couldn't have done it better myself

It would be interesting to compare interiors, because you have the Individual Piano Black and I went for the High-Gloss Black trim. I would expect the Individual trim to have a deeper and finer finish, and of course without the "metalic" effects that the High-Gloss trim has in it. It could be similar to the difference between Jet Black and Saphire Black

Enjoy...
Cheers, I had the High Gloss Black in my E92 I just traded in, reckon your spot on with the Jet/Sapphire comparison for the trims. They're both hard to keep clean but the Piano does mark easier and is much shinier. I went for the Piano as I found the High Gloss I had previously was quite creaky and also fancied a change, albeit a minor one.

That's the best color combo! Congratulations! My next 5er will be like yours or similar.

Obviously I would argue the steering wheel is on the Right side.

Piano Black Trim is one of the Individual options, so called because it looks like the finish on a Piano, a highly polished deep gloss black.
