hi all, these are photos of my e60 lowered on eibach prokit with the konis fsd shocks, im a bit disturbed, these pics were take a day after being lowered, is it normal for it to still look this high (especially the front driver side, 3rd pic)? and how long will it take to settle...?

i'm not expert by any means, but that gap looks bigger than my stock sports suspension. did you have sports pkg to begin with or not?

i have no experience with spring & shock combos....but i hope for your sake, there's a breakin period and it'll sag a big! regardless, it's fixable and nothing permanent!

good luck bro!

Not an expert either but it looks like the rims/tires aren't large enough to fill the gap. Even if it was lower there would still be all that space on the sides.

It doesn't look right. Springs will eventually settle but it's not going to settle +2".

something is a bit off, did you have them installed by someone/some place who has some experience?
i have seen people/shops install springs (and even coilovers if they're REALLY clever ) upside down, not seat the springs properly, etc. and it would often lead to a larger gap

that's a pretty big gap... right after i had mine installed i could tell a difference right away even before it completely settled.

looks like no sports package b/c no shadowline trim - maybe eibach sportline or h&r race springs would do the trick

No, Eibach prokit would drop him significantly. Member NeRwEzzy has non-sport and his car is sitting pretty nice
I can't find the picture of his car, but hopefully he can post a pic
