Picking up my 2004 545i SE Auto tonight.
I can't wait
Going to have to be a good boy and not lose my license straight away.
Anyway - hello all! I expect I'll be a regular poster here.
My first question would be: I'm a tech savvy person. What equipment do you need to get the same level of software control as the dealership? How much does it cost?

As far as your questions.. a few thousand $$$ to get the equipment. And its not simple as it seems.
Get ready to spend money galour on mods man. =)

Can't help you on the software but there is some very tech savy people on here that can help with that. I know I read somewhere about and someone had qutie the write up it.

The power this thing has is just mindblowing, going to take some getting used to as in my old car I'm normally giving full throttle to accelerate. 
I'll get some pics up later today I hope, once it's had the obligatory polish!
