Hi everyone,
The car is amazing. The only problem I notice was some small scratches on one of the rims. They knocked off an additional 200$. My bodyshop friend has touched up mine in the past.
I really don't know what to say besides I wish I could leave work and drive it.
I plan on taking pictures tonight and will post.
A couple of questions.
1. My nav disk is 2007, but I have sourced a 2009 version. Is it a matter of just putting in the disk?
2. When I swap out the CDV tomorrow where do I find the brake/clutch resivour and is it DOT 4? Same spot as the e39?
3. Did anyone purchase the Tire and Wheel protection plan? I did... any major issues if I replace the tires at some point with another brand.
Regards
Sandro

2. It should be in the middle towards the front. Remove the underpanels and you should be able to spot the CDV. Sorry I don't know technical terms but had this done and looked at it while they were doing it. It is up and inside right above the exhaust piping. There was no way to reach it without touching the tranny/exhaust piping so make sure your car is cooled off (at least for my 2005 545i, yours might be in a slightly different spot). Here's a link on a detailed DIY for an E46 M3 which should help:

3. Honestly I didn't even know there was a tire/wheel protection plan. Chances of you messing up your OEM wheels are slim and if you change your tires then it's not a big deal. Just make sure to upgrade to non run flat tires, from what I hear they are horrid.
