why does everyone insist on pics? We know what the car looks like. We know all the colors and interior combinations. Its like there will be some amazing revelation that no one knows about by seeing pics. Post pics if you have something unique ie: BMW individual, or a special add on

I understand yr point to some extent and fully respect it, but pictures are more than pure factual. From the new owner's perspective, there's a lot of emotion involved and pride, and making pictures and sharing them with others is a good way to express that.
Don't underestimate the therapeutical value of this forum... hehe
And to be honest, I prefer to see the car, instead of someone telling me 545i, carbon black, black grill, styling 128 wheels, 12mm spacers on rear wheels, etc. The angle from which the picture was shot, the distance, the amount of light etc make every picture different and therefore interesting. What you define as special add ons, may not have the same meaning for everyone.

So, if LI545sport wants to show us some pictures, I'd love to see them.

I always enjoy seeing the pictures. Sometimes you get to see a wheel combo that I might like!

Hey guys... will post pics probably this weekend when Long Island is supposed to have some very nice weather.

As far as the link to the non-hardwired-no-visible-wire Valentine One install, all you need to do is mount the detector where you want (i.e. high up on the passenger side next to the rear-view mirror)... then you can easily just tuck in the cord and run it all the way to side.. keep tucking and tucking.. heading down the pillar.. around the right side.. and swoop underneath the glovebox... and plug it into the outlet in the passenger footwell. No tools other than your hands (maybe some nails) are needed.

I can post pics of my install when I take the other pics this weekend.

Congrats on the new car. Drive safe and enjoy.

I used Competiton BMW as well but I was not too happy with them. And this is the second 5-series I got from this dealer. Hope you have better luck.

So, here are just a few shots I took this morning. It shows off the new perspective view in the Nav as well as the submenu to the left people keep talking about but not showing a pic of.

I also included a pic of my V1 non-hardwire install... and just because I live in a snowy environment, I changed the tires already to Pirelli PZero Nero M+S (voted by TireRack as the best ultra high-performance all-season) in stock sizes. They ride just like the new Dunlops that were on the car (smooth, quiet, excellent grip during fast turns). I'm gonna garage the Dunlops for now (the tire place said my Dunlops weren't even run flats; I'll have to check to see if they have that "RFS" on the sidewall.).
