Picked up my 2005 545

Greetings everyone! I've been lurking here for many many months reading all the posts and taking in all the helpful info available. I was the previous owner of a 540 then dabbled with a 911 for a few years and have finally returned to BMW with the lease of a new 2005 Titanium Silver 545 w/sport, NAV, premium sound, and those funky sun shades. I was originally going to wait for the 550, however, I received a great lease deal and went for it (about $175 less a month than if I waited for the 550 due to the low MF rates .0010 v. .0027...I didn't realize it made such a difference).
Anyhow, the car is great, I forgot how well the 5 drives while maintaining an excellent balance of sport and luxury. I've only goosed it partially a couple times and the amount of acceleration is outstanding.
The current plan is for me to drive the car for the next 16 months and then turn it over to the wife (when her Audi lease ends). At that point, I will see what's on the market...perhaps the 550 or if I get that promotion then perhaps an M5.
Anyway, thanks to you all for helping me decide on this great car!
