The '04 530 is the first year of production. I'd stay away, plus the engine wasn't really powerful that year, so the grin factor isn't there for me.
The SL is one of the prettiest cars on the road. It probably has the power to pass anything on the road, except a dealership. Plan on considerable unscheduled maintenance. I've never driven an SL, but I can attest that an SLK is not particularly nimble for its size.
The '06 330 (I'm assuming it's a E90 sedan) is probably the safest bet. It will have more power than the '04 530, and nearly the same interior room. It will be the safest bet, and probably what I'd do.
However, since I'm spending your money, I don't need to be safe. Thus, I'd get the Cayenne, purely out of curiosity.

330 is no way near the same interior room as the '04 530, I driven 1 and itis about the same as the E46.

My Ride: E46 330, E60 550 on order: Carbon Black/Natural Brown, 6MT.
Numbers in inches, in the following order: E60 E90 E46
Front Head: 37.7 37.4 37.0
Rear Head: 37.0 37.1 37.4
Front Shoulder: 57.3 55.4 54.4
Rear Shoulder: 57.2 55.1 54.2
Front Leg: 41.5 41.5 41.4
Rear Leg: 36.0 34.6 34.6
Is two inches (50mm) of shoulder room and 1.4 inches (35mm) or rear leg room worth buying an older, less powerful, and possibly more problematic car?

I was considering an 03 SL500 back in June. You can find many of them in LA with pretty low mileage for as little as $55K.
For the same price, you can get an '08 535, so I went that route since I needed the rear seat.

My Ride: BMW 530i SE Auto
Agree re: the SL500, but actually aren't the prices of these cars all quite different?
The 2004 530i is prob the cheapest by far, so unfair to compare it to the other, more expensive cars.
Nice to note that the guys here are sensible unbiased E60 owners though!

Not in the US. It was introduced in 2003 as a 2004 model.

Number are nothing, just like the engines number.
in the real world it alldown to how you feel in the car, when I sit in the 3er it feel much smaller than the 5er.
most people will say the same, try putting 2 baby car seat in the back and have a person sit in the middle and then you know which 1 feels bigger. I have done this for all 3 cars.

2003 as a 2004 model right IC so most BMW come later in US for all models right?
New models seem to be introduced a few months earlier in Europe, which is logical. However, automakers are allowed to sell a given model year up to a year before the actual year. As an example, the E60 LCI was a 2008 model in the US when it was introduced in March of this year.
Most of the time, next year's models show up in September.
As a side affect, there are rare cases where model year is skipped entirely. This typically happens when a program is delayed. For example there was no 1983 Corvette. The 1982 model ran a little long, and the 1984 model was introduced in January of 1983. You know the car was delayed, as 1983 would have been the 30th anniversary of the corvette, as it was introduced in 1953.

but consider the 06 330 due to it being newer and prob less miles...
