Nice wheels?

Really nice merv, what's the ride like compared to your old 18s? You are in a unique position to compare them on the same car!

Not done many miles yet but it certainly has a nice ride at slow speed. Tyre roar seems a bit quieter. The 135's I had to start with were a big improvement over my last 124's with Dunlops. When I've tried all senarios I'll post my findings.
Car seems slower though with the extra weight of the spare wheel.

Molloy - The style is 172 mixed size's. They're a BMW option on the M sport model.
Cost an extra ?780, 1,092 euros or $1,443. I had them fitted late due to lack of availability.

Merv - Nice wheels your car should stand out from the normal sport models.

What happened to your old wheels - did the dealer take them back ?

Marty,

When I originally ordered the car I paid the extra for the wheels, however this caused an extra 6 week delay so my dealer offered to let me use the std 135's whilst they ordered a demonstrator with the 172's. We then simply exchanged.
Great for me as I got a free 2k miles on their tyres for my trouble.
