Hi Guys,

Im in the process of currently upgrading my headlights bulbs from HALGOEN to XENON & HID bulbs,
i.e. In each Headlight their will be 1 x HID PHILLIPS H7 6000k bulb and 1 x XENON bulb....

My question is I'm obviously wanting either as close to "Whitish" color or as close to as the HID bulb color as possible- and that is where my problem is.

I cant decide between the following two brands of XENON H7 bulbs-
1 is made by MTEC and the other by PHILLIPS (one would assume since im getting Phillips HID bulb that naturally I should get the Phillips Xenon bulb, the problem is though i dont think the Phillips one is as 'strong'/ bright as possibly the MTEC due to the difference in Watts- nonetheless I could be enitrely wrong.)

Anybody who has expierence with these and could shed some light would be much appreciated

i converted my stock halogens to a HID kit for the low beams and i also installed some (xenon/white halogen bulbs for the high beams) however i was not satisfied because the bulbs have a blue coating and when the high beam is not in use the blue reflects in the headlight housing bezel. i recently switched to the Osram Nightbreaker (light blue coating but does not reflect). other alternatives are GE Nighthawk Platinum & Philips X-treme Power which both have anti-reflective tips as well). these bulbs give off no reflection when turned off. obviously they are not as "white" as say MTEC's or GP Thunder's but IMO, they are for your highbeams and you will rarely use them once to go to HID's for the low beams.

PLEEEASE do not use those bulbs. They are over-powered bulbs which can melt ur harness or worse ur housing. I have seen MANY of those mishaps.

Don't need to worry about the smaller headlights on the bi-xenon headlights as they only go on when you use them for 'flash to pass'. They don't light up when the high beams go on.

As for the fogs 6000k should work as far as matching the color to factory.
