Nice transformation mate!!
Will look even better with the shadowline trim.
How are you finding the cobra springs?

Hope to get my car back this week after all the suspension problems. Apparently it seems the garage should have re-fitted the bump stops but they didn't as that isn't on the Koni sport instructions!, but I did see it somewhere on the Koni website. Should stop banging hopefully! Miss it.

The springs are fine.. Smooth ride, even with 4 passengers. No rubbing or scraping...

Hope your ride will feel fine now... The bumstops are there for a reason

Let me know how it works out!

I could't wait for the weekend, and decided to face the rain and get to it...

You guys know how this works, so no full story...
Install is a breeze, even in the rain......and it works too...
Just drove a couple of miles and tested the different settings....like the green in (slow) traffic and city...The red is quiet, well RED promts the Kick down very often, and is good for kicking ass to wannabe boy racers

So, definitely happy with this mod...

Some pics (and to be the first...yes its dirty down there..)

Why didn't you remap the engine software , instead of buying that sprint booster. You know, i suppose, that it doesn't improve performance with anything ( is just the feeling ) ?

Yeah, I know...its like the trusted old sport button on my mini...

Problem is that I drive a 177 HP 523...a good remap cost way more than this thing and does almost nothing for the engine.
I hang out a tuning shop almost every day, and they told me a 10 to 15 HP win can be found, but at the cost of almost 650 eur...

So yeah, the turbo models gain a lot with a remap, but for know..I will settle for the feeling and having another gadget

Yours looks a little more complex than the one i've got 2 years back and i've sold it after 1 week. Kick down at 1/2 throttle on S mode . The drive shaft guibo was gone after 3 days and it was very annoying in traffic.
On the 530d i have a software from Chipmeister and it was 400 euro. I've heard good reviews about ziptunning also. (with some warranty, probably i will do the 545i there). I've also asked some quotes from Hartge but is 900+.

523
2497 cm3
82,0 x 78,8 mm
11,0:1
130 kW (177 pk)

525
2497 cm3
82,0 x 78,8 mm
82,0 x 78,8 mm
160 kW (218 pk)

I have the feeling the the engines are identical and with less than 1000 euro you can make it a 525 (218pk). I think the only differences between 523 and 525 is maybe the intake manifold and the software ( see this ). Maybe you should dig into this problem.
You have this intake manifold
525 uses this.

Better talk to some mechanics and if it's a direct swap , you only need a 525i software dumped into your ECU and you're ready
