Hi,
I understand that the key also stores some settings so that when you unlock the car it sets the mirrors, seats, radio stations etc. Does this apply to all e60s? Do they all have electric seats?

It all depends on which options you have. Some options are standard in one country and not included in another, so it's hard to answer your question.

My Ride: 2011, E90 M3 Sedan. Alpine White.Competition package, Keyhole cover, fender reflectors in Alpine white, RPI Exhaust, 19
do you know ive never set those buttons.. dont know what i should use them for.. any ideas??

Do you mean the buttons on the seats? These are for different settings for you / the wife etc. My understanding is that the key supercedes this and sets more (at least on some cars). Will ask the dealer when I go to look at one tomorrow.
