My Ride: Range Rover Westminster Edition,6000 Mile Corvette C4 And titanium Gray 2005 530i
Unhappy

Hi All ppl
Today I Had An Acceleration Test To My 530i Auto 2005 And I Had A Slow Time "0 To 60 In 8.8 Sec"!!
And Yesterday I Was Kicked By Slow SUV Range Rover Super Charger , I Eated His Dust!!!!
I Thought This Was Because Of My Tire Spin But Today I Raced A 300c Chrysler HIMI He also Burn The Rubber Till The End Of First Gear But He Was In front Me About 3 Cars Till 120 Km!
I Don't Know But My Question Is
Dose That A Good Number Of Acceleration Time For My Car! Cause I Think The 530i Has a Low Torque Problem?
If It's Like That Then How Can I Do Little Things To Upgrade Her Performance ?
Or If My Car Is Weak Somehow (( Spark Plugs Are Didn't Show A warning To Replace It )) Then What Can I Do To Make It Normal Cause I Found A Video Of A Car Same As Mine Hiting 100 Km\h In Just 7 sec Or Fewer!!!
Why The Hell My Car Is Like That
Plz Need Help

So, you're from Earth? Well, that narrows it down. From the grammar, I am guessing not US or European, but please narrow down your profile to a more realistic area of the planet.

The 530 just isn't the speedster that the higher end models are, especially the MY2005, with just 225HP. However 8.8 sec sounds rather slow, considering. Either get it supercharged or just learn to live with getting smoked! Beaten by a supercharged Range Rover & a Chrysler with a V-8 Hemi is what you'd expect, given what's under your hood.

1. You're comparing your car to more powerful EIGHT cylinder vehicles.

2. You have six cylinders trying to overcome the weight of a 3700 lb. body.

3. You have an automatic slushbox.

Solution ... 535i with 6 speed manual!

arh -for a 3700lb auto with 225hp - that doesn't sound far off. Can you find the 0-60 specs for your car (from BMW) and compare?

Hello A-R-H at Earth,

Space (grey) calling.

The M54B30 engine has 231 hp at 5900 rpm and a torgue of 300 Nm at 3000 rpm.

A 530iA in Euro specs should acc from 0 - 100 km/h in 7,1 sec.

And I make a bet it DOES match the seven seconds! Ever thought how to measure this correctly. Use your thumb on a stop watch and watch the speedometer when hitting the 60mph? Forget it. Just pressing the watch gives you a second variation at least not to speak about the speedometer watching.
I think the posting is a fake. Anyone that can afford a 530i does such kind of youngster challenges - really?

Check the rear badges before racing, some outcomes are quite easy to determine prior to the event.

Cheers
